Barking Riverside Station

London, England

About

This Work

Novum is proud to present our latest venture with Morgan Sindall and VolkerFitzpatrick; Barking Riverside train station. The new station was built to support a new local housing development and is the first extension of the London Overground since 2015. Our scope of work included the station box glazed facade, platform roof glazing, lower platform canopy, platform waiting room and escape stairs. The use of glass has allowed natural light into the station and has opened up views over the River Thames.
