The contemporary update to Pier 27 in San Francisco features an attractive façade with structural glazing on built-up profile steelwork. Novum’s CCG-System features custom stainless steel corner clamps that are small and unobtrusive, but elegantly highlight the glass geometry. By using wide corner clamped glass panels supported by narrow vertical plate structural members, Novum was able to create a highly transparent and open façade. The glazing system is combined with custom profiles made of bolting plates together. Integrated door and stainless panel entries were included into the single source package.
