Novum's scope included curtain walls on the north and south sides, seven glass floor bridges and one interior point supported glass wall. For the glass bridges, the architect initially selected a square patterned, acid etched glass that provided ridges for traction control, but this type of glass exceeded their budget. To solve the traction control issue in a cost effective way, Novum worked directly with the glass fabricator to design a glass with a similar square pattern, but with a traction control frit, instead of acid etching.
